Saw the most extraordinary thing today: a loud joyful french person. This young dude talked with people on the train and smiled and got others to smile. At first I wasn't sure if he was a little crazy, a beggar, or just over the top. He was sincere- ly over the top. The most curious part was the fact that he got one business guy to start smiling and talking with him, and I started smiling seeing this other guy smile... it was absolutely contagious: no stopping us. And there were several other people who couldn't stop smiling even after the guy got off the train. "Well! Here we are at Gare de Lyon! Everyone for Gare de Lyon- we're gettin' off here! Alright, hey it was greating seeing your smile today and I hope you all have a great day! See ya!"
You know, they say there is some kind of chemical released in the body when one laughs or even smiles like that... I certainly could feel it- and I needed it. </Liz> <!--12:32 PM-->
