<Liz> Today I've realized the value of true rest. I have taken time to just relax, write in my journal, think, clean a bit for the welcome of Katie, who is now here. We already are overtly conspiring to keep her awake- la pauvre. I am a bit soft though, so I might propose a small nap. Its just been a nice morning and I have truly enjoyed the peace. </Liz> <!--3:58 AM-->

<Liz> You know when you are extremely tired and you know you need to just go to sleep but are too tired to.... That's how I feel today. It has been a day full of dialogue on the emerging church. We never really pinned down what that is, but we sure did a lot of talking about it. I mostly listened. There were quite a few people who are highly respected in the world of ministry present, coming from the UK and Prague, US and France. I think its going to take me days to unpack what was discussed. For now, I'm sticking to my motto: Life = Ministry. In the meantime, get to know Andrew Jones and Jonny Baker. Both were present amongst other great thinkers. Now if only I could assimilate the philosophy with practical day to day life. </Liz> <!--4:13 PM-->
