<Liz> Ever wondered how to make a sugar cube explode? Well, I figured it out. Just put a sugar cube in a freshly finished cup of tea, you know when there's just a little liquid left in the bottom and boil your water. Then pour your hot water over the sugar cube (and of course your tea bag... :) philosophy on the perfect cup of tea...). The sugar cube will just emit its crystals throughout your cup of tea... Its really kinda cool looking! </Liz> <!--1:01 AM-->
<Liz> Those darn photo journalists! I can't get a picture out my head that I stumbled upon through the BBC.com. Some marines apparently found a Iraki police station and grabbed a couple shots of the freshly vacated compound, including the 'sick' chief's collection of "abandoned" indentity cards, tiny filthy cells, and a live electric cord and rubber tires. I'll spare you the link. </Liz> <!--12:01 AM-->
<Liz> Wanna see a picture of my RER today? This looks like Chatelet les Halls in rushhour during la greve. </Liz> <!--11:34 AM-->
<Liz> I liked how one CNN reporter in Baghdad put it. The people are afraid; both sides have advantages and disadvantages; and [I'm going to get to talk to the soldiers soon and I can verify what their leader is saying.] This seems to be the first straightforward reporting I've found and I'm 'vachement contente'.
Why do the good shoes have to cost so much. Docs, Campers...which will hold up longest and which can be worn with the most flexiblity or is there another shoe out there amongst these millions I see trespass the doors of the RER each day.... Whatever the answer, I have to find a new pair... that won't fall apart before the end of the summer. </Liz> <!--11:22 PM-->
