<Liz> I can't seem to figure it out... I read CNN and Le Parisien each day for about 30 minutes and look at the war from both perspectives. America praises itself, casts out pictures of soldiers throwing candy and food to children from their vehicles and tells stories both of POW's shot in the head and an Iraki woman hung for waving to the Coalition forces. I listened to an Iraki immigrant to American shoot down a "little girl" war-protester on KVI (MP3) and I see the pain in Pace's face as he announces death. From Paris here, the word is that the Red Cross is mobilizing to go and help and they are meeting today to figure out how to deal with the pending immigrant influx. They show pictures and tell stories of violent reception of food and water from the Red Crescent (Red Cross for the Muslims) and remark at the warm welcome the French receive in Irak with comments like: Are you American or British?- Neither, I'm French. - Ah, that's good. Welcome!

What I'm beginning to think is, as diverse as the opinions on war are across the world, they are as diverse in Irak. </Liz> <!--1:56 AM-->

<Liz> I'm getting tired of the bread dying before the end of the day... This means that I won't be buying Tang Frere's baguettes much. This in turn, means that I need to find another boulangerie that will serve my desires, but this means that it won't be in Paris most likely cuz I have to ride the metro home and if I have to continue to take the "sardine car" home every day.... I don't want to be carrying a "worth" piece of bread with me... It might not make it home in one piece. </Liz> <!--12:48 PM-->

<Liz> You know you have a coldsore when it "fattens". If it stays a little, very irritating cut in your lip, its just a little irritating cut. </Liz> <!--11:37 AM-->

<Liz> Why do DVD's have to come labelled for zones? I need zone 2 from here out.. What a strange thing... that my liztoppy DVD player will only allow 4 zone changes... </Liz> <!--11:32 AM-->

<Liz> Don't you just love it when you figure out something that you've always wanted to know.... Like HTML... I'm teaching myself a bit and thats quite a miracle for a non-com-nerd like myself </Liz> <!--8:39 AM-->

<Liz> What I cant understand is how the brain learns. and why it hurts, or more so causes physical disorient and actually brings on sleep.

Why do I like the sun? I have not a clue. I think I must be slightly coldblooded cuz when I lay in the sun, I don't want to get up out of it (and I end up burning) and I fall asleep. But then, like a hangover after too much to drink, I systematically feel sick. </Liz> <!--7:11 AM-->

<Liz> whatever the heck... yah. I'm thinking outloud and uncut, un pc, and off the top of my head </Liz> <!--7:08 AM-->
